As a responsible business owner, I feel we each must do our part to secure Illinois road and transportation funding. The Midwest is the center hub so we must look ahead at alternate forms of transportation while keeping our roads safe to maximize the efficient use of all our resources.
The obstacles which confront the construction industry are many. We must establish a national vision to not only strengthen the economy, create vibrant communities and protect our environment, we can get highly skilled employees back to building an integrated, intermodal transportation network.
